FlonicsMission & Vision

Flonics Co., Ltd. develops medical imaging-based automatic blood flow analysis software products and hemodynamic analysis methods for the diagnosis, treatment, and management of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases.

  • Atherosclerosis
  • Thoracic Aortic Aneurysm
  • Aortic Dissection
  • AI IS

    Shape-based diagnosis
    Diameter, Size, Length
    No blood flow information
    difficult to consider hemodynamics
    Cannot predict occurrence or progression
    follow-up-based management
  • Unmet need

3D aortic blood flow measurement and post-processing software
    Hemodynamic biomarker
  • TO BE

    Precise diagnosis/prediction of aortic diseases
Vascular-blood flow integrated diagnosis, hemodynamic biomarker
    Utilization in aortic treatment management
Interventions and post-procedural blood flow function monitoring
  • Technology

    4D flow MRI

An innovative method that utilizes the latest magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technology to precisely analyze blood flow motion and patterns

  • Solution

    4D flow

Provides an all-in-one solution that automates the processes of image acquisition, analysis, and reporting

  • Solution

    MR-Cath, Virtual-Cath

Based on 4D flow MRI, offers Virtual Cath to replace traditional invasive catheter pressure measurements

FlonicsCase Reports

Case 01
Aortic dissection requiring ascending aorta replacement surgery
After surgery, anemia occurred. 4D flow MRI hemodynamic analysis revealed structural bending of the blood flow. Reoperation was confirmed to be necessary.
Case 02
Blood flow improvement through 4D flow MRI analysis
In an aortic dissection patient, ischemia was detected in the left kidney via CT. 4D flow MRI analysis determined the necessity of intervention/surgery to improve blood flow.
Case 03
Surgery to close the entry tear in an aortic dissection patient
Postoperative anemia occurred. 4D flow MRI hemodynamic analysis confirmed structural bending in blood flow, indicating the need for reoperation.
